Introduction to Full Metal Alchemist

Full Metal Alchemist is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa. The story is set in a fictional world where alchemy is one of the most advanced forms of science, and it follows the journey of two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, as they attempt to restore their bodies after a failed alchemical experiment.

The manga was adapted into two anime series, Full Metal Alchemist (2003) and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009), and it’s the latter series that we’ll be focusing on in this article.
